			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Following information was originally posted at <a href="<a href="http://jigsawsays.jigsaw-london.com">Jigsaw Says Blog</a>">Jigsaw London's Blog Jigsaw Says</a></p><p>This week&#8217;s pick comes to us from the lovely ladies at our Burlingame store.  They&#8217;ve decided to favor our Linen Dotty Print Dress and it&#8217;s not hard to see why.  This pretty dress features a flattering shape, easy-fitting cut and classic print, making it one that can keep looking great from season to season.</p>
<p><a href="http://jigsawsays.jigsaw-london.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/698-pick-6.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-2255" title="698-pick-6" src="http://jigsawsays.jigsaw-london.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/698-pick-6.jpg" alt="" width="600" height="1068" /></a>We picked this dress because the linen fabric is light and breathable-perfect for summer, but we also love the fun polka-dot print.  The dress is amazingly flattering; it plays into the stretchy-fitted dresses that are popular now, but maintains a modesty that keeps it from looking like shrink-wrap!  It&#8217;s the perfect cut, with the ideal amount of stretch!</p>
<p>The other aspect we love about this dress is how easy it is to layer with cardigans, scarves and jackets, making it a strong contender for our winter wardrobes as well as our summer looks.  You can see above how great Nikki looks in the dress when layered over a classic button-up shirt, like our <a href="http://www.jigsaw-london.com/womens/shirts-and-tops/summer-stripe-long-sleeve-shirt" target="_blank">Summer Stripe Long-sleeve Shirt in blue</a>.   But we&#8217;d love to see it layered over a bright summery orange top as well!</p>
<p><a href="http://jigsawsays.jigsaw-london.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/698-pick-3.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-2256" title="698-pick-3" src="http://jigsawsays.jigsaw-london.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/698-pick-3.jpg" alt="" width="600" height="1068" /></a>For her second look, Nikki styled the dress under our <a href="http://www.jigsaw-london.com/womens/coats-and-jackets/jersey-trim-jacket" target="_blank">Jersey Trim Jacket </a>and belted it at the hips for added femininity.  She also added our <a href="http://www.jigsaw-london.com/accessories/fashion-jewelry/flower-and-pearl-necklace" target="_blank">flower and pearl necklace </a>to finish off the look.  The result?  A look that&#8217;s both dressy and incredibly comfortable (the perfect equation!)</p>
<p><a href="http://jigsawsays.jigsaw-london.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/698-pick-5.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-2257" title="698-pick-5" src="http://jigsawsays.jigsaw-london.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/698-pick-5.jpg" alt="" width="600" height="1068" /></a>Finally, Nikki paired the Linen Dotty Print Dress with our classic <a href="http://www.jigsaw-london.com/womens/pants/twill-straight-leg-stretch-jeans" target="_blank">straight-leg twill jeans </a>and the <a href="http://www.jigsaw-london.com/handbags/tano-kings-bling-bag" target="_blank">King&#8217;s Bling Tano bag</a>.  Belted low on the hips, this dress morphs into a flouncy day shirt that&#8217;s playful and easy going.  Adding a <a href="http://www.jigsaw-london.com/accessories/fashion-scarves/silk-jersey-scarf" target="_blank">bright scarf</a> adds a pop of color and completes this lovely layered look.</p>
<p>This dress is currently only available in our boutiques, so if your in the Beverly Hills, San Francisco, Burlingame or Berkeley area head on over and try it on!  Happy Styling!</p>

<p>It&#8217;s an easy thing to take on in just your everyday clothes.  Maybe add a vintage bracelet, an heirloom, or a fun pin to all your outfits.  Or perhaps for summer, start wearing some flowers in your hair, add a bow to all your hair-styles or even go for a signature lipstick in a bold shade.  The possibilities are truly endless, but to help you along, here are a few of our favorite signature styles from the past&#8230;</p>

<p><a href="http://jigsawsays.jigsaw-london.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/LadiestoTheMaxsmaller.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-2066" title="LadiestoTheMaxsmaller" src="http://jigsawsays.jigsaw-london.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/LadiestoTheMaxsmaller.jpg" alt="" width="1026" height="779" /></a></p>
<p>You already saw how our <a title="Pick of the Week – San Francisco" href="http://jigsawsays.jigsaw-london.com/pick-of-the-week-san-francisco/" target="_blank">San Francisco store styled the Ticking Stripe Seam Maxi Skirt</a>, but here&#8217;s another maxi styling we adore. Our new<a href="http://www.jigsaw-london.com/womens/skirts/diane-maxi-skirt" target="_blank"> Diane Maxi skirt </a>has the potential to be styled as a long slung bohemian maxi, a waist flattering, elongating maxi, or even a halter dress!  It&#8217;s just full of versatility and everyone here is just smitten.  Here&#8217;s a look at how two of our Jigsaw team styled it&#8230;</p>
<p>Summer, from our San Francisco store, paired it with our <a href="http://www.jigsaw-london.com/womens/shirts-and-tops/shrug-detail-top" target="_blank">Shrug Detail Top</a> and heels:</p>
<p><a href="http://jigsawsays.jigsaw-london.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/Summer-Diane-Maxi.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-2072" title="Summer Diane Maxi" src="http://jigsawsays.jigsaw-london.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/Summer-Diane-Maxi.jpg" alt="" width="600" height="803" /></a></p>
<p>And <a href="http://www.eclecticalamode.com/2012/04/black-nude-blocked-hues.html" target="_blank">Allison</a> from our Burlingame store mixed the dark skirt with a neutral top:</p>
<h2 style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://jigsawsays.jigsaw-london.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/allison-maxi-styling.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-2156" title="allison maxi styling" src="http://jigsawsays.jigsaw-london.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/allison-maxi-styling.jpg" alt="" width="597" height="867" /></a></h2>
<h2 style="text-align: center;"></h2>
<h2 style="text-align: center;">How would you style the Diane Maxi skirt?</h2>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Following information was originally posted at <a href="<a href="http://jigsawsays.jigsaw-london.com">Jigsaw Says Blog</a>">Jigsaw London's Blog Jigsaw Says</a></p><p>This week, we are focusing on all the ways to restyle clothing and make it your own.  From adding embellishments to finding new ways to wear things, Jigsaw-London is all about versatility!</p>
<p>So to kick things off, here&#8217;s a super easy tutorial on how to tie a scarf into a vest!  One of our customers actually showed us this technique (you are all so clever) and after she left our Burlingame store, they tried it with our <a href="http://www.jigsaw-london.com/accessories/fashion-scarves/union-jack-scarf" target="_blank">Union Jack Scarf.</a>  This scarf is perfect for this styling because it shows off the gorgeous flag part, that&#8217;s otherwise hidden.</p>
<h2><a href="http://jigsawsays.jigsaw-london.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/scarf-tutorial.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-2207" title="scarf tutorial" src="http://jigsawsays.jigsaw-london.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/scarf-tutorial.jpg" alt="" width="1026" height="912" /></a>Step by Step&#8230;</h2>
<div>
<p>1. Fold scarf in half and take the top two ends and tie into a small square knot</p>
</div>
<div>
<p><a href="http://jigsawsays.jigsaw-london.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/scarf-step-1.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-2208" title="scarf step 1" src="http://jigsawsays.jigsaw-london.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/scarf-step-1.jpg" alt="" width="1026" height="616" /></a>3. Pull apart the two remaining open ends until you create two holes; these have become the arm holes</p>
<p><a href="http://jigsawsays.jigsaw-london.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/scarf-seperates.jpg"><img class="aligncenter wp-image-2211" title="scarf seperates" src="http://jigsawsays.jigsaw-london.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/scarf-seperates.jpg" alt="" width="535" height="773" /></a>4. Put on your vest and separate the front and back till you have it looking the way you want and you&#8217;re done!</p>
<p><a href="http://jigsawsays.jigsaw-london.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/scarf-last.jpg"><img class="aligncenter  wp-image-2212" title="scarf last" src="http://jigsawsays.jigsaw-london.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/scarf-last.jpg" alt="" width="535" height="930" /></a></p>
</div>
<div>
<p><em>Helpful Hints:  Make sure you have the brightest side of the scarf on the outside of your vest and for another look, wrap the front ends across your body and pin to create your very own wrap top! </em></p>
<p>Happy Styling!</p>

<div style="text-align: justify;">Hi everyone! I&#8217;m Alycia and I blog over at <a href="http://www.thecuriouspug.com/" target="_blank">The Curious Pug</a>. We have two dogs: Monty, who is a 2 year old chihuahua/terrier rescue dog who will do anything to please you, and Mabel, who is a 7 month old Boston Terrier completely obsessed with playing fetch. I admit that I am a crazy dog lady and a proud dog mom who will do anything for my dogs. So I thought it would be fun to share a few of the (sort of crazy) things that makes us dog moms who we are in honor of Mother&#8217;s Day.</div>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h2 style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;">You know you&#8217;re a dog mom when&#8230;</span></h2>
<div style="text-align: center;"></div>
<p>-You make sure your dogs get their annual check ups and are in better health than you are.</p>
<p>-Your dog eats higher quality and healthier food than you do.</p>
<p>-You speak in silly voices on your dog&#8217;s behalf and believe that is what they are actually saying. Then laugh about it.</p>
<p>-Instead of buying those shoes you&#8217;ve been wanting for months, you&#8217;d rather spend the money on dog toys.</p>
<p>-You dog has their own toy box which is usually overflowing.</p>
<p>-You have a special basket where you keep ripped dog toys so you can spend a whole day sewing them back up.</p>
<p>-You refer to your dog as your &#8216;baby.&#8217;</p>
<p>-You match the color of your furniture or throw blankets to your dog&#8217;s fur.</p>
<p>-Before anyone sits on your couch, you warn them about dog hair getting on their clothes.</p>
<p>-Dog hair is considered a condiment in your home and no big deal. Just pick it out and continue eating.</p>
<p>-You wonder how much of your life has been spent looking at your dog&#8217;s butt.</p>
<p>-You want to, or already have, coordinated Halloween costumes with your dog.</p>
<p>-You&#8217;d rather oooh and ahhh over a picture of someone&#8217;s dog rather than their human baby.</p>
<p>-You get mad or offended when people say negative things about certain breeds, especially if that is the breed of your dog.</p>
<p>-You spend your weekends at the dog park or doing dog related activities instead of doing things with other humans.</p>
<p>-Your mom refers to your dog as her &#8216;granddog.&#8217;</p>
<p>-You kiss your dog on the lips and don&#8217;t even think twice about it.</p>
<p>-You have more pictures of your dog on your wall/cell phone/blog than of your significant other.</p>
<p>-Your home has at least one dog bed in each room.</p>
<p>-You have baby gates set up in your home, but no human babies.</p>
<p>-You have a hard time trusting or liking people who don&#8217;t like dogs, especially your dog.</p>
<p>-You have a bag dedicated to carrying your dog&#8217;s things, much like a diaper bag.</p>
<p>-Your holiday cards include a photo of your dog.</p>
<p>-You sign those holiday cards to include your dog&#8217;s name or paw print.</p>
<p>-Your dog has their own Christmas ornaments.</p>
<p>-You give gifts to others on your dog&#8217;s behalf (To Dad, Love Dog).</p>
<p>-You have a blog/facebook/dogster account for your dog.</p>
<p>-The best part of a vacation ending, is getting to pick up your dog from their daycare/boarding facility.</p>
<p>-Forget the boarding facility and you bring your dog on vacation with you.</p>
<p>-Your car has a dedicated dog blanket or car seat for your fur baby so they won&#8217;t get car sick.</p>
<p>-When your dog is sick, you are sick with worry.</p>
<p>-You will spend thousands of dollars on your dog or do whatever it takes to make them better.</p>
<p>-Any new experience in your life, you think about how you could include your dog.</p>
<div style="text-align: center;"><strong>Happy Mother&#8217;s Day to all mom&#8217;s, of dogs and humans alike! </strong></div>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Following information was originally posted at <a href="<a href="http://jigsawsays.jigsaw-london.com">Jigsaw Says Blog</a>">Jigsaw London's Blog Jigsaw Says</a></p><p>The <a href="http://www.jigsaw-london.com/womens/dresses/camelia-print-tie-bow-dress" target="_blank">Camelia Print Dress</a> is the perfect dress for Spring 2012 and beyond. It is a classically cut piece with a feminine floral print that is neither overwhelming nor boring. This dress is one that may never go out of style; it is an easy go-to piece that could have been as relevant 10 or 20 years ago as it is now. It can be dressed up for a wedding and other formal Summer events, or dressed down to wear as a sundress. The 1980’s and 90’s styles have been making a huge comeback these last few seasons. This is a piece that lends itself to those vintage styles without being a costume of them; it can wear as very modern and feminine with a mere change of accessories.</p>
<p>The <a href="http://www.jigsaw-london.com/womens/dresses/camelia-print-tie-bow-dress" target="_blank">Camelia Print Dress</a> is a tea-length chiffon floral print dress with a crinkled skirt and bodice pleating at the front and back. The button closure at the neckline can be closed to give an elegant 3.5” keyhole just below the neck or left open to give the bodice a blousy drape. This dress is lined in a soft pink with the exception of the beautiful unlined puffed sleeve. There is a long removable sash belt made of the same material that can be wrapped around once with a lengthy, floppy bow or twice for a wide belt with a smaller bow. The print is a watercolor-esque, pink floral on a taupe/nude base. There are various tones in the print ranging from light nude to dark pink and even bits of olive green.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://jigsawsays.jigsaw-london.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/BH5.jpg"><img class="aligncenter  wp-image-1494" title="BH5" src="http://jigsawsays.jigsaw-london.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/BH5-606x1024.jpg" alt="" width="471" height="798" /></a></p>
<p>I’ve styled this look in a classic way with a stylish nude heel, but instead of the sash I have replaced it with a <a href="http://www.jigsaw-london.com/accessories/womens-belts/skinny-suede-belt" target="_blank">skinny, boyfriend belt</a> to give a little more definition at the waist and add just a touch of a modern edge. Personally, I also have a shorter waist; hence a smaller belt is more flattering for me than a big sash. Here, I’ve paired this look with the <a href="http://www.jigsaw-london.com/handbags/leather-tote-bag-with-tattoo-print" target="_blank">Campomaggi Tattoo Print Bag</a> to play with mixing prints and as a juxtaposition of something heavy paired with something delicate.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://jigsawsays.jigsaw-london.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/BH3.jpg"><img class="wp-image-1498 aligncenter" title="BH3" src="http://jigsawsays.jigsaw-london.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/BH3-542x1024.jpg" alt="" width="474" height="895" /></a></p>
<div style="width: 300px; margin: 0 auto;">

<div style="text-align: center;"><small><a href="http://www.polyvore.com/pick_week_camelia_print_tie/set?.embedder=2813516&amp;.svc=copypaste&amp;id=48600776">Pick of the Week: Camelia Print Tie Bow Dress</a> by <a href="http://jigsawsays.polyvore.com/?.embedder=2813516&amp;.svc=copypaste">jigsawsays</a> on <a href="http://www.polyvore.com/">polyvore.com</a></small></div>
<div style="width: 300px; margin: 0 auto;">

</div>
<p>Hannah has the perfect coloring for this dress with her fair skin and red hair, but because of the wide range of colors in the print, though I think it suits just about any skin tone. Hannah has a longer waist therefore it suits her better to tie the sash in a pseudo-kimono style showing off her waist. She has done this by thickly wrapping the sash around her waist twice, leaving it to tie in a knot at center back. She has styled the dress in a more casual way with an oxford style platform shoe, and the adorable <a href="http://www.jigsaw-london.com/handbags/tano-mini-me-bag" target="_blank">cross body shimmery bag from Tano</a>. To achieve the same look, you could also pair this dress and purse with a <a href="http://www.jigsaw-london.com/accessories/womens-shoes/leather-wedge-shoes" target="_blank">platform sandal</a>.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://jigsawsays.jigsaw-london.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/BH4.jpg"><img class="aligncenter  wp-image-1495" title="BH4" src="http://jigsawsays.jigsaw-london.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/BH4-555x1024.jpg" alt="" width="535" height="985" /></a></p>
<p>It seems that my most formative fashion years were during the height of the grunge movement in the 90s, and as a result I am constantly wearing combat boots with EVERYTHING (even here at Jigsaw), especially with sundresses, and floral prints – including this dress. When I pair chunky boots with dainty dresses, I’m definitely referencing the floral Dr. Martens I had when I was 10. Alongside the chunky boot, I just can&#8217;t help but pair our favorite <a href="http://www.jigsaw-london.com/handbags/small-union-jack-bag" target="_blank">Union Jack studded clutch</a> with this look. I would wear this outfit any day of the week, giving a nod to the 90’s in a sophisticated way.</p>

<p>Naomi is one of the sweetest moms we know and a daily must-read!  Her blog is chock-full of family fun and stunning photos.  She shares all about her life as a young mom living in Washington, DC along while showing her incredible style and penchant for delicious eateries.  Get ready to get lost in her inspiring lifestyle, her handsome hubby, their bulldog Kingsly and their adorable daughter Eleanor.  (Plus they are expecting their second baby really soon!  Congrats Naomi and Josh!)</p>

<p><em><strong>&#8220;Fashion and motherhood don&#8217;t cancel each other out.  A child wants to see their mother&#8217;s personality shine through, even if it&#8217;s in the little things like clothing choices.  As a mom, I enjoy expressing myself in that way.&#8221;</strong></em></p>
